Distortion

Distortion is a puzzle horror game, combining escape room elements with a classy horror aesthetic. Play as two travelers who are trapped in a creepy mansion by a welcoming but disturbing entity known as the Warden. Solve cryptic puzzles to find your escape, and discover that all may not be as it seems...

Controls

• WASD - Move
• Mouse - Look around
• E - interact/pick up items
• 1-4 - select item
• Q - drop selected item
• Escape - pause/options menu

Connection Guide

Right now there is no official way to create a game between two players. The easiest solution is to use a VPN proxy program, such as LogMeIn Hamachi.

1. Install Hamachi on both systems
2. Create a new network, give it a name and a password
3. Have the other person join the network
4. In game, one player selects "Host Game"
5. The other player copies the host's IP address from Hamachi, pastes it into the IP address field in game, and selects "Join Game"
6. If another players drops out or connection is lost, you must close and restart the game to try again.

Known Bugs

• Jumping is pretty spotty, if it doesn't work make sure you're on flat ground and try moving to a new spot
• Dropping an item might not always place it where you want, if it doesn't work just try again in a new spot
• Some spots in the map have glitchy collision detection, avoid pressing against walls too hard
